Black Arrow, a three stage satellite launcher was the only UK rocket to place a satellite, Prospero, into near earth orbit, where it remains until this day. Fueled by RP-1 (kerosene) and HTP (High Test Peroxide), a concentrated form of hydrogen peroxide (85% hydrogen peroxide + 15% water), the project owed much of its design to the earlier and highly successful Black Knight rocket programme. Developed from studies at the Royal Aircraft Establishment and Saunders-Roe, there were four launches in all from the Woomera test range in Australia between 1969 and 1970.

The build is composed of two parts, the launch pad and rocket itself, so simply upload, rez and position.

If you have any questions, IM Skipper Abel or visit Spaceport UK for a test launch in Second Life and please see accompanying CC licence, enjoy.
